Time (kind of!) for another friday five thing... This week I rate the awfulness of the questions 5/10.
1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why?
Gosh, you know, I'm not sure I HAVE a favourite musician. I like so many different musicians for so many different reasons... I don't even have a Rock Star Of The Moment right now. I'm obviously listening to too much good music :)
2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why?
Oh god, this would be such a massive list I don't know where to start. Jesus. Jimmy Nail. Sorry Mark.
3. If your favorite singer wasn't in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person?
Arr but I don't have a favourite musician! Damned questions. OK, in general I don't know. I'm not in the business of saying I only like people's music because of who they are as a person. I don't know. It depends. If I had a favourite musician they would be extremely talented, so that's something to appreciate... Who knows? :)
4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show?
Yeah, too many good ones to give you a definative answer. So many.
5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music?
Oh well I download music constantly. Come on RIAA arrest me or something ;) I know that since me and Mike started downloading music we've both got into a lot more new stuff, different stuff. Been to more gigs. I think ultimately it's a good things for everyone concerned if that happens :)
But, you know, if CDs weren't so fucking overpriced I would buy more anyway. I've recently been on a SPREE of actual CD buying though, so obviously I don't know what I'm talking about :)
