FRIDAY FUCKING FIVE
1. What was the last song you heard?
Something by the Donnas, I think :)
2. What were the last two movies you saw?
The last film was City of Lost Children, last night... Which was pretty fucking cool, overall. Especially when the guy rips out the cyclops' eyepiece, plugs him into his eyepiece, and then proceeds to shove a knife into his brain, while he watches from his killer's eyepiece. OK, the probably wasn't the clearest description ever, but it's really fucking cool :)
Before that? Umm... Do Columbo movies count? :)
3. What were the last three things you purchased?
Umm... spaghetti, tomatoes and parmesan cheese. Yesterday afternoon. Then we cooked it and it was very nice thank you :) I should start putting photos of what we eat on here again :)
4. What four things do you need to do this weekend?
Oh, man, there's so much practical stuff for the house. Really, you don't want me to list that shit.
5. Who are the last five people you talked to?
Mike, of course :) And before that a homeless guy who was next to the ATM that didn't work yesterday, who seems to commute from Orpington every day for some reason. Personally if I was homeless I would think the best bit would be NOT doing that shit. But then, if he was sensible he's stow aboard ship or something and go to San Francisco :) And before that assorted fellow jurors.

Firmly Back In the Big Smoke
Mike has put up the photos from the Mexico-LA-Oz-Tokyo part of our trip up in this brand spanking new blog:
SNAP
So go look :)
We really did have a lot of fun. *sigh*
Jury service still sucks most mightily.
Got an email from the PIPSTER yesterday though, who is returning from Germany pretty soon... it will definately be fun hanging out :) Maybe once we are back in the usual thing of seeing people and hanging out and going to shows, London will seem a bit better. Also looking forward to the idea of hanging out with Doc when he comes to London. And of course, in the Long Run, Johnny :) So maybe it's not that bad. *sigh*

So, I am doing my civic duty: jury service. It's a long way off Ancient Greece, or even 12 Angry Men

Still not seen the inside of a court room, only a jury canteen that sells pies exclusively :)
I have had my ears pierced. I feel so 12 years old :) They burst the horrible lumps where I let my last ones heal over and repierced them by hand again and again, so they are a bit bloody.
Good news about the change in Spanish government :) Maybe we'll finally get rid of Mr. Blair too... :) ¶ 2:07 PM
